Snap Ads Long-Form video (LFV) expand on standard Snap Ads (Top Snaps) with the capability to swipe up to view additional video (LFV) that are up to 10 minutes in length. These ads appear in Discover and in Between User Stories.

    Requirements

    • Vertical video files are preferred but horizontal video is permitted (Snapchatters can rotate for full-screen view)
    • For approved advertisers, turnaround time to set up campaign is 2-3 days
    • Must include sound
    • Snap Ad creative must vary when running multiple ads
    • Content approved for a 13+ aged audience

    Restrictions

    • Snap Ads may not feature letterboxing/borders of any kind
    • Snap Ads that imitate organic Snaps or feature Snapchat tools (i.e. doodles or Snapchat-style fonts)
    • Silent or still videos
    • Use of Snapcodes, Snapchat usernames or social handles, or written mention of Snapchat
    • Snap Ads may not feature overly-complicated URLs or referencing Snapchat in the URL
    • Square video
