Brett Wilson, Co-founder and CEO

Under Brett’s leadership, TubeMogul has become widely recognized as the leading enterprise software company for digital branding by companies like IPG Mediabrands, Lenovo and Mondelez. Brett’s emphasis on company culture has translated into multiple awards for the company, including “Most Outstanding Customer Service” (iMedia) and “Best Place to Work” (San Francisco Business Times). Prior to TubeMogul, Brett founded YouCanSave.com, an e-commerce company which he built to $70 million in revenue and sold to Thane International, and he founded and led Mariner Marketing, the digital agency of record for Church & Dwight and Orange Glo International. Brett began his career at Accenture, where he led system implementations for Fortune 100 clients including Adecco, Republic Industries and Caesar’s World International. While securing his MBA at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, Brett won the UC Berkeley Business Plan Competition in 2007 for starting TubeMogul with John Hughes. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Brett has been featured in Advertising Age, AdWeek and The New York Times. |

Paul Joachim, CFO

Paul is responsible for providing strong financial management, reporting and analysis to support business goals and operational and strategic decision-making. Paul was most recently SVP and Managing Director, Americas, at Vibrant Media where he grew the sales organization and helped drive Vibrant’s revenue to more than $100 million. Prior to Vibrant, he was a Managing Director with investment banking firm Jefferies Broadview. Paul contributed to closing more than 40 mergers and acquisitions, primarily in the digital media sector, during his 10-plus years as an M&A advisor. An engineer by training, Paul started out in sales with IBM, receiving its widely emulated sales training and selling IBM’s full range of products and services to enterprise clients. |

John Hughes, Co-founder and President of Products

John is the technical lead and product visionary for TubeMogul. While at Haas with Brett, John envisioned and created online video promotion platform OneLoad.com. John is also responsible for architecting and building the world’s first video demand-side platform (DSP), TubeMogul. At last count, the application scans more than four billion ad opportunities per day and selects only the most relevant brand impressions. The platform is widely regarded as a gold standard for video DSPs. John holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BS from Penn State University. Prior to TubeMogul, John held product management positions at Adobe Systems and Gateway Inc. |

Jason Lopatecki, Chief Strategy Officer

Jason co-founded Illumenix, a first-to-market video analytics startup that measures in-player audience engagement. At Illumenix, Jason grew the business from concept to successful product launch and an early leader in the video analytics market. Prior to Illumenix, Jason was an early member of IPTV/Communications startup Calix Networks. At Calix Networks, Jason helped lead the development of multiple successful products, from inception to marketplace. Jason has a BS in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley. |

Adam Rose, Chief Technology Officer

Adam co-founded Illumenix with the vision of providing detailed insight into online video—and with the foresight that all video delivery will sooner than later take place using IP and the Internet. Adam’s prior experience includes system architecture and engineering management in the development of network equipment and infrastructure, at both Calix Networks and Ciena Systems. He was also a systems integration lead for the Canadian robotic arm that was used to build the International Space Station. Adam has a degree in computer engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada. |

Chip Scovic, Chief Revenue Officer

Chip’s mission at TubeMogul is to continue the company’s rapid revenue growth worldwide and expand the footprint of its programmatic brand marketing platform among the world’s top brands. Prior to TubeMogul, Chip ran Google’s media platforms business for brands and independent agencies, as well as the company’s programmatic buying strategy for brand advertisers. He came to Google via the Teracent acquisition. Prior to Teracent, Chip ran Yahoo! video ad sales and was responsible for launching and managing the Yahoo! Smart Ads retail business. Before his career in digital media, Chip was a criminal prosecutor and practiced law in the State of Delaware.

Keith Eadie, Chief Marketing Officer

Keith leads the marketing team and is responsible for driving awareness of TubeMogul’s software platform for video advertising among media agencies and brand marketers. Keith joined TubeMogul from The Boston Consulting Group, where he specialized in developing marketing strategies for technology and digital media firms. Prior to BCG, he worked with TubeMogul in its infancy at UC Berkeley and collaborated with the founders to develop the initial business plan and marketing tactics. Keith began his career at HSBC as a portfolio manager responsible for U.S. and global technology funds. He received his MBA from UC Berkeley.

Daniel Schotland, VP of Operations

Daniel Schotland has served as our Vice President of Operations since April 2013. In this capacity, Mr. Schotland oversees our global operations team and is responsible for media strategy, campaign production, and account management. From March 2003 to January 2013, Mr. Schotland served as Vice President of Client Services and Vice President of Business Development for Experian Marketing Services, where he led key revenue and monetization strategies and developed innovative digital marketing programs for Fortune 500 companies such as Yahoo!, Restoration Hardware, and Williams-Sonoma. Mr. Schotland started his career as a technology consultant for Deloitte Consulting leading large ERP implementations. He is a thought leader in the field of digital marketing and regularly speaks at associated industry events. Mr. Schotland holds a B.S. from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.
