AT&T is sponsoring an online series titled “Lost In America” (not to be confused with the excellent 1985 Albert Brooks movie of the same name). The show is produced by Tremor Media and features prominent video blogger (and TubeMogul user) iJustine and Karen Nguyen.
The office is buzzing over our recent acquisition of Illumenix, an in-depth video metrics startup. Illumenix’s suite of patent-pending measurement tools, which can be set up in any flash player within minutes, are going to be wrapped up into something we are calling TubeMogul InPlay. If you host your own Flash video, here are some of the metrics we now offer:
Viewed-Minutes
Viewer Attention (i.e. when does a viewer click away?)
What else do we gain from the deal? The value of Illumenix’s brain-trust of executives and engineers can’t be overstated, and we are excited to have them working in our Emeryville, California offices. Here’s our first team photo, taken at our Halloween Party last week:
Brett Wilson, our CEO and a co-founder of TubeMogul, will be on a panel entitled “Internet Video, Advertising & Marketing: The Next Generation of Consumer Reach” at Digital Hollywood next Wednesday, October 29th at 2:15 PM. Hope to see you there!
A small feature to add, but a useful one: all users can now change a video’s thumbnail after the video launches–perfect for keeping your video fresh or correcting a drunken thumbnail selection.
We are proud to announce the launch of MRSS video uploads, which will be added to our suite of Premium Products. Videos are automatically uploaded (and launched to video sites, depending on preferences) via a MRSS feed, and a user can create as many feeds as they have distinct profiles across video sites. To users that launch hundreds of videos at a time (i.e. Warner Brothers), this is hopefully good news.
Today, we are proud to announce our integration with Graspr.com, an instructional video site. Graspr is an innovator in the how-to space, featuring tools to create scenes, edit and remix clips online, annotate videos, build a collection player of your favorites and more.
We are proud to announce that Tilzy.TV show reviews will now be included in TubeMogul Marketplace profiles, where available. Any video producer that has been reviewed by Tilzy can now opt to include the review when setting up (or editing) their profile. Tilzy’s reviews are incredibly informative and include helpful details like a show’s network (if applicable), premiere date, actors, producers and more.
