Best Video File Formats and Dimensions for Each Site

The questions we’ve been receiving about the TubeMogul upload tool have shifted from “what file types can I use” to “What are the best formats and video pixel dimensions with the sites you serve?”
This is a tough one to answer, as each site is a little different. In general, the mp4 file format (h.264) at 720×480 or 640×480 pixel dimensions is probably the best, but we want to reach out to you all to find out what is working best for you. Please share with us! We’re hoping to compile the information, along with our own learnings, and share it with the world.
